Amanda Leigh Moore AKA Mandy Moore grew up in Seminole County and attended Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, from 1998-2002.

Mandy gained fame with her 1999 debut single titled “Candy.”  After signing with Epic Records, she released her first album, So Real that received Platinum certification. In 2000 Mandy’s single, “I Wanna Be with You“, became her first Top 30 song in the US, peaking at number 24 on the Hot 100 chart.

As of 2009, Moore has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, according to Billboard. In 2012, Moore was ranked #96 on VH1‘s list of “100 Greatest Women in Music” (as well as #63 on their Sexiest Artists of All Time List.)

Mandy made her film debut in the 2001 comedy film Dr. Dolittle 2, although it was only a small voice role. Later that same year, she appeared as Lana Thomas in the comedy film The Princess Diaries starring Oscar winner Anne Hathaway. She had her first starring role as Jamie Sullivan in the 2002 romantic drama film A Walk to Remember, which was based on Nicholas Sparks‘ novel.  As well as other roles such as Chasing Liberty, Grey’s Anatomy, Because I Said So, License to Wed and Hotel Noir to name a few.

Mandy is well known especially with the younger generation as being the voice of Rapunzel in the 2010 animated feature in Disney’s Tangled. She will reprise her role in a 2017 television series based on the film.THIS-IS-US-maile-school

In 2016, she began starring as Rebecca Pearson in the NBC popular family comedy-drama series titled This Is Us for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination.

This is Us follows a unique ensemble, as their paths cross and their life stories intertwine, from sharing the same birthday, to so much more than anyone would expect.
