    JOHN PEROS CASTING has been serving the production community since 1989, casting hundreds of commercials, as well as, episodic television, film, industrials, music videos and print campaigns.
    John’s impressive clients include NASCAR, Oreos, Nickelodeon, Disney, Papa Johns, Elder Plan, Tylenol, ABC, Discovery Cove, CBS, Kissimmee Tourism, Fox, Febreze, NBC, ESPN, Coors Light, & Pepsi to name a few. John has worked and directed in other markets including New York, LA, New Orleans and Vancouver.
    The Maile School is proud to have John Peros call our school his home  for castings and workshops.

     John is offering two exceptional Commercial Audition Bootcamps that can increase your booking ratio! One is for the adult actor focusing on improvised and scripted commercials. She also modeled and landed a print job for the Pageantry and PromTime Magazine Fashion Showcase 2009.

Grad Kelsey Amerzee Rudder sang at Central Park in Winter Park for the Kickoff of United Art of Central Florida ArtsFest. The event began with entertainment from a variety of local arts & cultural organizations and Kelsey performed a few songs. Kelsey is 14 years old and a freshman in the Dr. Phillip's Theatre Magnet program. She proudly represents Orlando and the Avalon School of Music. Orange County is one of four counties taking part in the festivities to raise money and awareness for the importance of the Arts in Central Florida.

Congratulations to the beautiful Maile School professional models who booked a fundraiser fashion show benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 
The event was held in Baldwin Park and the Pink Heart Boutique showcased their stylish new wardrobe line.

Professional Modeling grad Rebecca Austin booked her second annual fashion show for Park Avenue’s Fashion Week. She is a member of the Eastern Surfing Association where she competes once a month for eight months. The season is now over and she is ranked 3rd in shortboard &  2nd in longboard in the women's division of the North Florida Region. She also modeled for Surf Expo this past January and did promotional modeling for NASCAR at the Daytona 500.  Ever since graduating from The Maile School in May 07 she has booked over 15 fashion shows, many Expo's and is now working on more print jobs for the surf industry.

       The Schnacky acting grads are at it again.  Noah was selected by LA Casting director, James Levine, for a National SAG Busch Gardens commercial, where he got to ride in the front row on the Kumba!  Additionally, he was recruited by Director, Brian Schmidt, to play the role of Young Alex, a teen with Tourette's syndrome in the 35 mm independent film, Happy.  He is performing at the Osceola Center for Performing Arts in their Broadway Series, The King and I, as the Prince. Finally, watch for him in the lead role of Henry in The Boxcar Kids this year at the Orlando International Fringe Festival performing at the Shakespeare Theatre in May. 
Allison recently completed CATS with the Orlando Youth Theatre in the role of BumbulurinaShe is also performing in The King and I and will be performing in High School Musical 2 for the Orlando Youth Theatre in May.

    The Maile School along with acting instructor and talent manager Sheri Kebbel have created The Young Performers Group designed for the young working actor.  We recognize the importance of providing a creative, inspiring, and challenging environment for professional young actors to continuously work on their craft!  YPG meets every Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm.  Call Jennifer at the front desk to see if you qualify!

    Austin Abrams is 12 years old, in the 7th grade and attends New Gate. He enjoys aikido, juggling and snowboarding.   He trains in NYC with master classes in improv, scene study and on camera musical theatre. His industry credits include film work for Gone to the Moon as the lead role. Theatre productions for High School Musical, Beauty and the Beast and voice over work for Ringling School of Art & Design.

    Camila Febres is 12 years old, in the 6th grade and home schooled. She enjoys hip hop dance and softball. She won 1st place in a speech contest and placed 2nd in the Pretty Little Princess Magical Pageant.  Her most recent industry work was a video for Interval International.

    Hailee Febres is 10 years old, in the 4th grade and home schooled. She is an honor roll student at Lake Whitney Elementary School. She has performed in a dance recital titled That’s Entertainment. She enjoys gymnastics, reading and soccer. Her industry credits include a commercial for Papa John’s Pizza.

     Alyssa Fenu is 15 years old, in the 10th grade and attends Hagerty High School. She is an honor student and a member of the American Sign Language Club. She enjoys ice and inline skating. Her industry jobs include a commercial for Green Meadows Petting Farm, a Full Sail film titled The Master and industrial work for Awana.

    Michael Furbush is 10 years old, in the 5th grade and attends Minneola Elementary School.  He is an anchor on the Minneola Morning news team at his school. He received the terrific kid math superstar award. His industry credits include commercials for Alamo Rental Car, Kellogg's, Orlando Museum of Art and landed three UCF Films.

    Jack Griffo is 12 years old, in the 6th grade and attends The First Academy. He received the Four Square Life Award from Kanakuk Camps 2006. He enjoys guitar, sports, skateboarding and basketball. He played Dill in To Kill A Mockingbird. He has also done commercial and television work for Disney, Nickelodeon Studios, and CBN.

Savannah Grizzaffe  is 10 years, in the 4th grade and home schooled She has done  printwork for Picture People, Aqua Leisure, Cheer Champs Gym, and has been casted for a part in "When Kings", a UCF film. She has won numerous state &  national acting competitions. She enjoys sports, guitar, singing, dancing, tumbling, four-wheeling, fishing, golf and cooking.

Carlie Schelhorn is 8 years old, in the 3rd grade and home schooled. She enjoys swimming, hip hop dance and tennis. She was a finalist for Big Break Hollywood in Atlanta last year. Her industry credits include commercials for AOM Healthcare, ESP and ITT.

Christie Schelhorn is 14 years old, in the 8th grade and home schooled.  She enjoys tennis, swimming, ice skating and snow skiing. Her industry credits include a commercial for Samsung and she played the lead role of Coslette in Les Mis.

    Sarah Sculco is 12 years old, in the 6th grade and attends St. Margaret Mary. She enjoys volleyball and guitar. She has earned the Principal's Honors every year at school. Her favorite shows are House and Lost. Her industry credits include the lead in The Boxcar Children at the Orlando Youth Theatre and numerous commercials and student films.

    Farwell to fellow actor John Dahl. He past away on February 5, 2009.  The memorial mass was held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday February 12th. He was an employee at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Country Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed acting and appeared in many commercials, films and print jobs.
School President Debbie Wisner remembers John fondly. “In fact my very first print job was with John Dahl, he played my husband. He will be truly missed.”
