SCHOOL NEWS

March 2008

Welcome President Martinez from Cory in the House!

The Maile School is proud to present John D’Aquino from Disney’s “Corey in the House” and “Hannah Montana”. John plays President Richard Martinez on both shows. He will be offering a special one day intensive hands on workshop.

John appeared on an episode of “Seinfeld” and other comedies such as “3rd Rock From The Sun” and the season opener of Showtime's “Weeds”.

John formally played Larry on Comedy Central's satire “That’s My Bush” (created by South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone). He also held the role of an investigative reporter named Stuart Dunston on the CBS hit show “J.A.G.”

John’s  impressive resume includes Spielberg's “Seaquest DSV”, “Shark”, “Crossing Jordan”,  “Quantum Leap”, “Melrose Place”, “Matlock”, & “Murder She Wrote” to name a few.

As a student and longtime friend of the recently departed comic Charles Nelson Reilly, John attributes his success to the tutelage of his master teacher who inspired him to co-write “Stiff Cuffs”, a romantic comedy (Baker Plays), to write for multiple television shows and conceive his latest short film, “Paper Faces”, a psychological drama set in Venice, Italy which John also directed.

John teaches workshops on manifesting success in LA and travels across America helping actors prepare for show biz.

We are enthused to have John on our team to give his expertise and knowledge of the business to our students and help them achieve their career goals. Check out page 2 for info John’s workshops!
