Hannah’s Success in L.A.!
We’ve seen nothing but success for Children’s Acting graduate Hannah Lay! She was recently in an episode of “Zoey 101” on Nickelodeon and they liked her so much they asked her back. She plays the schools youngest 10th grader in an episode called “Vince Blake is Back”.
Hannah’s impressive resume includes work for New Line Cinema in a film called “Semi-Pro” and “A Good Man is Hard to Find” both out in 2008.
She filmed a Coca Cola commercial that is in theaters, a roll out keyboard commercial for Canadian television, and a commercial for Chrysler Dodge.
Hannah is up for a role on Disney’s hit television series “Corey in the House”. She had two auditions and has a call back in a few weeks in Los Angeles.
Although she still lives in Florida her mom Paige says, “They head out to California about 4 times a year”. “Hopefully more if the bookings keep coming”!
Hannah is excited to announce she is now registered on the Internet Movie Database, Inc. She maintains an "A" average in academics and involves herself with a variety of community events. We look forward to seeing what else is in store for Hannah!
Star Talent!

The job was finalized in early August when she signed a 2 ½ year contract. She will continue to pursue the industry since she is only 2 hours away from Orlando and Miami. She wants to thank everyone for all their support and prayers. The show will have it's own website soon. So stay tuned! Good Luck Tiff!

He also had a guest starring role on the TV series “What about Brian” playing a cop. He continues to perform stand up comedy and just recently was in Las Vegas where he shared the stage with the great Don Rickles! Dean stopped in for an audition with casting director Lori Wyman and was in town for several weeks performing at Bonkzers Comedy Club.
Be on the look out for two Maile School Acting graduates :
Amanda Balon will star as the red-headed little orphan Annie in the Broadway Musical. Amanda will also lend her vocals to the 30th Anniversary Annie CD. She has toured both nationally and internationally and has been on the road with the “Annie” Broadway Tour for the last two years. Before landing the lead role of Annie she previously played the youngest orphan Molly.
Speaking of Molly, graduate AnnaLisa Di Bernardo will now play the role. She just recently performed at The Mall at Millenia back to school fashion shows in August!
"Annie” opens at the Carr Performing Arts Centre on September 18th and runs through September 23rd. The tour will run until May 2008. Tickets are available through 'Ticketmaster'.

CREATING A WARDROBE YOU’LL LOVE!
Are
you always shopping, yet have nothing to wear? Do you stare at a closet
of mistakes every morning waiting for the perfect outfit to pop out? Is
it impossible to find what works for you?
Besides instructing communications skills & our “Breaking into the
Industry” seminar, school founder Lisa Maile is a well-respected success coach
who loves closet analysis and taking clients shopping! “I very much enjoy
helping ladies (& gentlemen) on a limited budget learn what works for their
bodies to create a wardrobe plan to spend less, have lots more & most
importantly LOVE what they see in the closet every morning! Dressing
should be joyous & uplifting, empowering you to face each day & feel
like a million.”
Having helped hundreds of professionals (& their closets) over the years,
Lisa’s always-effective simple approach is : make a Wardrobe PLAN, as shopping
for fun, entertainment or haphazardly out of desperation generally produces a
closet of chaos, prompting “I have nothing to wear!”. Says this
experienced image consultant who’s appeared on Lifetime, Hard Copy, & What
Not to Wear, “I help clients learn what works, so shopping is faster, simpler,
& more affordable, since we need less with strong, versatile key
pieces”.
Of course, Lisa‘s also reknown as a communications coach who develops public
speaking and interviewing skills. Executive client Ryan Marks (profiled
in this newsletter) prepared with Lisa before landing his multinational FDI
internship in Shanghai. “Ryan interviewed in Chinese, so besides creating
distinctive responses & stories to sell his talents, our sessions
highlighted the importance of power body language. Obviously, I can’t
speak Chinese, but the truth is interviewers remember what they see more than
what you say, so in addition to impressive responses, you must paint a picture
of confidence, enthusiasm & friendliness through how you present
yourself.... in any language.”
This month, Lisa is featured at WMFE’s Speaking of Women’s Health
Conference Aug. 24 at the Orange County Convention Center. Besides teaching &
coaching at the school, through her company, Lisa Maile Seminars &
Coaching, she presents and consults at businesses, colleges, and organizations
nationwide.
