Christmas Oh
Christmas!
Congrats to
acting and advanced acting graduate Patrick Joseph “PJ”
They
have performed for more than 1700 screaming teens, and are currently in the
midst of the FYE mall tour. The HeartBeat Boys have
been in the recording studio laying down the tracks for their highly
anticipated 2008 debut CD release entitled, “From The
Heart”. The group has also released
their first single, "Christmas Oh Christmas” that can be heard on Magic
107.7 during the Dave and Leslye show. Starr feels
that the “From The Heart” CD project is filled with
his best ever writing and producing efforts. Over the past few years, Starr has
written hits for acts like LL Cool J, P. Diddy, Mase, Bow Wow and Lil Romeo.
This past October the boys premiered on
the Billboard Hot single chart at #6 then jumped to #2 with their new hit
“Christmas Oh Christmas”. Visit Billboard at www.billboard.com

their website at www.heartbeatboys.com.

GROOMING TIPS FOR MEN FROM OUR IMAGE EXPERTS:
Men seem to take
a back seat on tips for image but more men are becoming interested in keeping
up with the times. Image is becoming as important to them as it is for
women. For men the hair is not as long as we were seeing last season. If
they do have longer hair they need to keep it clean looking. Make sure
your sideburns are clean and thinned out as well as the hairline. Because they
are wearing their hair a little longer they need to condition their hair more.
Also, hi-lights are very popular this season. Make sure to keep your
eyebrows well groomed too.
ANA YEBBA, Owner
of the Essence Salon
Cooler weather
brings dryness to the skin. Give your skin the attention it deserves by
exfoliating. Choose a cleanser with a granular texture. Follow with a
moisturizer and you will be amazed at how smooth and soft your face will be!
More men are just as concerned with anti- aging. Your biggest defense against
looking older than you are… A good sun screen! Choose an SFF of 15 or
higher for protection against the ultra violet A rays
also known as the aging rays, and an SPF of 45 or higher against the ultra
violet B rays, the burning rays for times you are in the sun for longer than 2
hours.
The holidays is a time to stray from your normal eating &
drinking habits. With all the parties and holiday festivities, moderation
is the key to looking and feeling healthy. Drinking alcohol is a sure
dehydrator, not to mention the calories which offer no nutritional value.
Replenish what is lost by drinking lots of water and step up the moisturizer
for your face and under eye area. You can still have a fun time this
holiday season and look great at the same time.
