Summer Adventures
Spencer Locke has had a busy year! In fact, she appeared on our newsletter cover twice in 2005 (May & December)! You may remember reading about her starring role in the upcoming Zemeckis/Spielberg project, Monster House, which is set to release this July. Spencer has also had guest starring roles on shows including Phil of the Future & That’s So Raven.
Spencer’s latest success is her role in the upcoming Impact Pictures/Constantine Film’s project, Resident Evil: Extinction. Spencer was cast in the lead role of “Angie” (aka “K-Mart”), who is a teenage girl found living in the ruins of a K-Mart. Production began in mid-May on the film, which is being shot in
The film stars Milla Jovovich, who appeared in the previous two Resident Evil movies. It is being directed by Russell Mulcahy, who has directed numerous projects including episodes of the 90s’s HBO hit, Tales from the Crypt and the 2006 Hallmark movie, The Curse of King Tut's Tomb. The film’s writer, W.S. Anderson, directed the first Resident Evil film, but has since added many writing credits to his name including the hit thriller: AVP: Alien vs. Predator.
Spencer will have to take a break from filming Resident Evil: Extinction in July to attend the premier of Monster House. Spencer starred as “Jenny” in a cast that also featured Steve Buscemi, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Nick Cannon. The entire film was made using “performance capture” animation.
Congratulations, Spencer, on all you’ve achieved so far! We can’t wait to see what’s next!

Billie Jo Creamer, a graduate of both our Acting and Modeling classes, appeared as a police officer in an episode of Dr. G: Medical Examiner on the Discovery Health channel. In spite of the “technical difficulties” on the Dr. G set, Billie Jo booked another job on a Discovery Health project: a show called Skeleton Stories. Keep up the great work, Billie Jo!
