SCHOOL NEWS December 2005 Happy Holidays! We’ve been seeing great things from Acting Graduate Bobby Tuttle III! He worked on the movies Domino, starring Keira Knightley, and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer. In 2006 you’ll be able to see Bobby in two more hit films: The Good Shepherd, starring Robert DeNiro, Angelino Jolie and Matt Damon, and The Devil Wears Prada, starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci. ( Bobby told us, “I want to thank everyone at the school for their continued support. It is so important to have a network of people around you who give you the energy you need to make your dreams a reality. That is exactly what I gained at The Lisa Maile Acting School. I gained it at the seed level of my career, when I didn’t have much more than a heart full of dreams and a salary of a 15 year old bus boy to pay my tuition. If there is anything I can do for the school or any of the students please do not hesitate to ask!” Starting in January 2006 you’ll be able to visit Bobby’s website at: iambobby.com. The site will feature headshots, photo galleries, resumes and demo reels! Congratulations, Bobby! If you visit the movie theaters during the next few months, look out for the trailers for the upcoming film, Monster House! Spencer Locke was cast as the female lead in the animated motion capture adventure! Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg were the executive producers of the movie, which also features performances by Steve Buscemi, Nick Cannon, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jon Heder, Kevin James, Jason Lee, Kathleen Turner and Fred Willard. Columbia Pictures will release Monster House on July 21, 2006. Spencer has certainly been making a name for herself in the entertainment industry! She graced the cover of our May newsletter after being cast in a starring role in Camryn Manheim’s WB comedy. Spencer can also be seen in the role of “Candida” in the Disney Channel’s Phil of the Future. She spent part of November on the set of That’s So Raven in the guest starring role of “Kayla.” We’re so proud of you, Spencer! We can’t wait to see what your future holds!
